Abstract

The Weimar Constitution is born under the auspices of the defeat suffered in World War I and after the "shameful" for most of the Germans, Versailles peace. The Weimar Republic is born under the ruins of the ancient. It is affirmed as a new democratic social constitutional charter, establishing a social state at the political, legal and social level. The Weimar Republic proclaimed itself a state destined to meet the social needs of its citizens in an innovative way, to a large extent even in an international context of the early twentieth century were full of social upheavals that generated significant theoretical references for the Law, Philosophy and Politics. Weimar's German Constitutionalism institutes 2nd-dimensional rights, state economic intervention, and a more complete system of fundamental rights and guarantees contributing to nascent social constitutionalism.
